The location of the hotel was very convenient, as it was just a short walk from the town centre. It was situated down a slight hill, making it easily accessible for exploring the surrounding areas. the room we stayed in was comfortable and had all the necessary amenities, including a TV/DVD player and tea/coffee making facilities. the bathroom was small but well-kept and clean. the service provided by the couple who ran the hotel was friendly and welcoming. the breakfast served was delicious and filling, prepared fresh for each guest.
The level of service from the owners could be improved.

Convenient Location & Clean Room
The location was very convenient, being close to the main street with plenty of options for restaurants and pubs nearby. , the room was clean and tidy upon arrival. Another advantage was the free WiFi, good for staying connected during a business trip.
The owners were unfriendly and not very helpful during my stay. the bathroom was very small, making it difficult to move around and get ready in the morning.

Great Base & Clean Rooms Spent Christmas at this B&B in the Lake District. the location was great, with lots of nearby towns to explore and great walks to go on. the rooms were clean and comfortable, and had all amenities we needed. the host was friendly and helpful, offering us great advice for things to do in the area. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast, which included both hot and cold options. the Wi-Fi was also reliable.
Limited Parking & Small Bathrooms We did find the parking to be quite tight and difficult to navigate, especially as we had a larger vehicle. the bathroom in our room was quite small and in need of updating.
